Azum was recorded in a cabin perched at the edge of an old farmhouse a few miles from a sea that looked south to Africa. Every sound on the album was collected in the local area and recorded in the studio so it’s a sound bite of a place and a time, an ode to the movement of the sun from set to rise.

On the record you’ll find steel pan playing with birdsong and sweet classical guitar bouncing off rhtyhms made from body drums, vocals from crickets, humans, and kitchens equipment and the hum of the universal drum
